振动马达 (2) 位于钢轮的右侧。 振动马达是具有固定排量的活塞式马达。 振动系统运行时，该马达转动偏心配重驱动轴。
橡胶隔离支架可以在振动系统运行时减小从钢轮传输到机器的振动。
振动马达包括一个整体的冲洗阀。 冲洗滑阀 (4) 和冲洗安全阀 (3) 一起工作。 冲洗滑阀将静液压回路低压侧的油液输送到冲洗安全阀。 冲洗安全阀将回路中低压侧的油液输送到马达壳体排油口。
在可变频率系统的机器上，转速传感器 (1) 安装在振动支架上。 传感器位于振动马达的顶部。 转速传感器是频率型设备。 振动马达输出轴上的齿轮转过速度传感器尖端。 每次齿经过传感器时，电气脉冲发送到机器 ECM。
机器 ECM 使用来自振动转速传感器 (1) 的输入信号来计算振动频率。 振动频率显示在显示屏上。 机器 ECM 还将来自振动转速传感器的输入信号用在振动控制逻辑中。 可变频率系统使用闭环逻辑来运行。 振动转速传感器提供闭环逻辑需要的反馈回路。

当振动系统运行时，供油从振动泵进入电机。 供油流向配流盘 (8) 的进口。 配流盘将油液输送到缸体中的活塞室。 该压力迫使与进口对齐的活塞 (7) 移出缸体。
随着活塞 (7) 被迫移出缸筒组件 (9) ，活塞对输出轴法兰 (6) 施加一个推力。 该推力导致输出轴 (5) 开始旋转。 缸筒组件和活塞随着输出轴而旋转。
缸筒组件 (9) 旋转时，活塞 (7) 与配流盘 (8) 的输出端口对齐。 缸筒组件旋转迫使油液流出活塞室，流入静液压回路的低压侧。 低压侧的油作用在冲洗滑阀上，然后回到液压泵的进口端。 冲洗阀上的节流孔限制流入壳体排油口的流量。
