Electrohydraulic Control (Joystick) - Remove and Install

Usage:

982M F9A

Removal procedure

Note: Put identification marks on all harness assemblies for installation purposes.

  1. Position the arm assembly to the Forward position.

  2. Remove screws (1). Repeat for the opposite side. Remove screws (2).

  3. Remove cover assemblies (3).

    Note: The inner cover can be positioned on the floor without disconnecting the arm rest latch cable.

  4. Disconnect harness assembly (6). Remove screws (5) and electrohydraulic steering control (4).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install electrohydraulic steering control (4) in the reverse order of the removal.

    1. Tighten screws (1) and (5) to a torque of 6 ± 1 N·m (53 ± 9 lb in).

    2. Tighten screws (2) to a torque of 1.7 ± 0.4 N·m (15.0 ± 3.5 lb in).
