Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the Steering Valve.

  1. Remove all fittings (1). Remove manifold (2). Remove elbow (3).

  2. Remove O-ring seal (4) from elbow (3).

  3. Remove O-ring seals (5) from manifold (2).

  4. Remove bolts (6) and spring housing (7).

  5. Remove bolts (8) and sensor assembly (9).

  6. Remove O-ring seal (10) from sensor assembly (9).

  7. Remove stem valve (11).

  8. Remove flange bolt (12) and retainer (13) from stem valve (11). Remove spring (14) and retainer (15) from stem valve (11). Remove probe assembly (16) from stem valve (11).

  9. Remove O-ring seal (17).

  10. Remove sensor housing (18).

  11. Remove O-ring seal (19).

  12. Remove relief valves (20).

  13. Remove O-ring seal (21), backup ring (22), and O-ring seal (23) from relief (20). Repeat for the other two relief valves.

  14. Remove retaining ring (24). Use Tooling (A) to remove check valve (25).

  15. Remove backup ring (26) and O-ring seal (27) from check valve (25).

  16. Remove nut (28), and coil assembly (29). Repeat for the three other solenoid valves. Remove nut (31) and coil assembly (30).

  17. Remove all four cartridge assemblies (32). Remove cartridge assembly (33).

  18. Remove O-ring seal (34) and O-ring seal (35) from cartridge assembly (32). Repeat for the remaining three cartridge valves.

  19. Remove backup rings (36) and O-ring seal (39) from cartridge valve (33). Remove backup rings (37) and remove O-ring seals (40) and (38) from cartridge valve (33).

  20. Remove bolts (41) and remove solenoid manifold (42).

  21. Remove O-ring seals (43) from valve body (44).
