The Special Instruction listed above describes modifying turbine housing in order to use different clamps and bolts. The modification and the use of the clamps and bolts provides a more secure joint between the turbocharger cartridge and the turbine housing.

Refer to the Special Instruction referenced above for the proper procedure for modifying the turbine housing.

This change is effective for the serial numbers listed in Table 1.
