Personal injury or death can result from sudden machine movement. Sudden movement of the machine can cause injury to persons on or near the machine. To prevent injury or death, make sure that the area around the machine is clear of personnel and obstructions before moving the machine to perform the test that follows. |

- Follow the instructions in Cat ET.
Note: All conditions in Step 3.a through Step 3.i must be met prior to clicking "Next".
- Center the circle under the frame.
- Side-shift the blade until the blade is centered with the machine.
- Position the blade perpendicular to the machine direction of travel.
- Move the machine to a hard, level surface.
- Lower the blade to the ground.
- Ensure that the front tires are upright and pointing straight ahead.
Note: Make sure that the tires are not angled or turned.
- Set the articulation angle of the machine to 0 degrees.
- Apply the parking brake.
- Activate the blade float.
Note: If all conditions have not been met, then the user is reminded again in the section above the steps on the Cat ET screen.
