Description of Change: New arm in the Auger Sensor Gp will improve the reliability of the calibration procedure of the left side application.

The new 366-7856 Arm is being used in the 198-8279 Auger Sensor Gp. This arm is used to mount the 166-0691 Mounting Block As to which the 219-2385 Position Sensor Gp is attached. The new 366-7856 Arm is adaptable to the 168-7855 Feed Sensor .

The 366-7856 Arm replaces the 168-4996 Arm. The new arm has a left and right indexing hole that will improve the calibration process for the auger sensors (paddle). This improvement comes by increasing the duty cycle free band in the full ON position (straight down). The new arm will improve the control of the material height and allow for better calibration of the sensor. The left side auger sensor (paddle) is mostly affected.

If the sensor will not calibrate, the 219-2385 Position Sensor Gp may be rotated slightly. Rotate the sensor counter clockwise for the left side and rotate the sensor clockwise for the right side. Rotate the sensor by loosening the two mounting screws. This action will allow enough free band to complete the calibration. If this action does not resolve the issue, the new 366-7856 Arm may be used. This new arm will allow for more rotation and as a result greater free band in the FULL ON position of the paddle.

When installing the new 366-7856 Arm, the strain relief on the harness connector of the 219-2385 Position Sensor Gp must be oriented verticle as shown in the Illustration. This orientation will prevent interference with the new 366-7856 Arm.
