Piston Motor (Power Train) - Remove and Install

Usage:

584 PAK

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the cab.
  2. Remove the front drive shaft.

Hot oil and components can cause personal injury.

Do not allow hot oil or components to contact the skin.

Be sure that the engine and components are cool enough to touch with your bare hand prior to performing any service work.

  1. Disconnect hose assemblies (1) and (2). Disconnect harness assembly (3) .

  1. Attach a suitable lifting device to piston motor (4). The weight of piston motor (4) is approximately 85 kg (187 lb).

  1. Remove bolts (5) .

  1. Lower piston motor (4) to the ground.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install piston motor (4) in the reverse order of the removal.
