Description of Change: There is a new cast profile for the inside surface of the center hub that improves durability which allows the center hub to make full contact with the auger shaft. The new auger segments will appear to be different.

The design of the new segments will align with the flights of the old segments when the segments are bolted in place. This will allow the new segments to be used as individual replacements. The new segments do not fully cover the auger shaft.

The length of the hub has been decreased and the thickness of the material has been increased in order to add a lengthwise rib cast which will improve the strength of the hub. The rib also displaces the asphalt away from the mounting hardware which reduces the amount of wear to the hex head and hex nut of the fasteners. A larger radius is used at the area of interface of the flight section and the hub.

The new segments displace the asphalt away from the auger shaft by the hub area of the segment that is bolted to the opposite side of the auger shaft and there is no wear on the shaft.
