Use a stable work platform placed in a secure location when lubricating the pillar, working on the fuel tank, or working on the hydraulic tank. If a secure location is not available, use the appropriate safety equipment to prevent falling off of the machine. Failure to work from a secure location may result in injury or death from a slip or a fall. |

The pillar base is filled with oil. Use sight glasses (1) and (2) to check the oil level.
The oil should be between level (B) (top of minimum sight glass) and level (A) (bottom of maximum sight glass).
Add SAE 80W90 oil, if necessary.
Note: The oil level may increase over time without the addition of any oil. Under this condition, water may be present in the log loader pillar. Then, draining a small portion of the oil from the log loader pillar base into a suitable container may be necessary. This operation will remove excess water from the system.
