Description of Change: The housing assembly has been strengthened in order to prevent cracks. The new design of the differential and bevel gear group has reduced wear between the bevel gear and the housing assembly. The new design of the differential and bevel gear group has reduced wear between the spider gears and the housing. All of the updates will improve the service life of the differential and bevel gear group.
Adaptable To: The new 272-3338 Differential and Bevel Gear Gp supersedes the former 141-3126 Differential and Bevel Gear Gp in the 192-5744 Power Train Ar.

The new parts are not direct replacements for the former parts. In order for you to update machines 5YW1-UP and JSM1-452 to the new design, all of the parts in Table 1 must be installed. All of the parts in Table 2 must be removed from the machines.
The new 272-3338 Differential and Bevel Gear Gp became effective in production with the machine JSM453-UP.
