Start By:

  1. Remove the track drive motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track Drive Motor - Remove".

    Note: Measure the Dimension (X) and the Dimension (Y). Record the measurement for assembly purposes.

  1. Remove stops (1) and the O-ring seals on both sides of the track drive motor.

  2. Remove bolts (2) and head (3).

    ------ WARNING! ------

    Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.

    Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.

    Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.


  3. Remove bolts (4) and valve assembly (5).

  4. Remove O-ring seals (6).

  5. Remove bushing (11), spring (8), retainer (9), spring (7), retainer (16), spring (15), dowel (10), piston (19), bushing (18), nut (20), solenoid (14), nut (13), pin (12), and O-ring seal (17).

  6. Remove plug (23), plug (22), plug (25), and the O-ring seals.

  7. Remove bolts (21) and valve (24).

  8. Remove O-ring seals (26) and bolt (27).

  9. Remove port plate (28).

  10. Remove pin (29) and piston (30).

  11. Remove O-ring seal (31) and barrel (32).

  12. Remove spring (33) and shim (34).

  13. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (35).

  14. Remove rotating group (37) and lip seal (38).

  15. Remove bolts (40), plate (42), pistons (39), and piston (41).

  16. Use Tooling (C) in order to remove retaining ring (43).

  17. Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press in order to remove shim (44), bearing cone (46), bearing cup (45), spacer (48), bearing cup (47), and bearing cup (49) from shaft (37).
