- Remove the hoe bucket.
- Place the stick on the ground.
- Attach a suitable lifting device to link assembly (1) . The weight of link assembly (1) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb). Remove pin (2) and link assembly (1) .

- Remove bearings (3) and (4) from both sides of link assembly (1) .

- Remove retaining rings (5) and (7) . Remove link assembly (6) . Repeat for the opposite side.

Note: Note the number and the location of the shims.
- Use Tooling (A) in order to remove bearings (8) and (9) from both link assemblies (6) .

Installation Procedure

- Lower the temperature of bearings (8) and (9) . Use Tooling (A) in order to install bearings (8) and (9) into both link assemblies (6) .
Note: Make sure that bearings (8) and (9) are flush with Surface (X) during the installation process.

- Install link assemblies (6) . Install shims in order to obtain a maximum total clearance of 4.0 mm (0.16 inch). Install retaining rings (5) and (7) .
Note: Note that one shim is required on each side.

- Lower the temperature of bearings (3) and (4) . Use Tooling (A) in order to install bearings (3) and (4) into both sides of link assembly (1) .
Note: Make sure that bearings (3) and (4) are flush with Surface (Y) during the installation process.

- Attach a suitable lifting device to link assembly (1) . The weight of link assembly (1) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb). Install link assembly (1) . Install pin (2) .

End By: Install the hoe bucket. Install the required amount of shims in order to maintain a maximum total clearance of 3.0 mm (0.12 inch).
