An Improved Track Shoe Is Being Installed {4172}

Description of Change: An improved track shoe is now being installed on the 587R and 587T Pipelayers. The new track shoe will be a direct replacement for the previous grouser track shoe with a square corner. Both corners of the new grouser track shoe are tapered in order to provide better clearance between the track shoe and the frame for the winch.
Adaptable To: The new 306-9460 Track Shoe will be a direct replacement for the 253-1519 Track Shoe .
The new track shoe is effective with the following machines:
- 587R (S/N: BXL382-UP)
- 587T (S/N: FAT430-UP)
- 587R (S/N: BXL1-381)
- 587T (S/N: FAT1-429)
