The new 326-7396 Monitor Software Gp for the Caterpillar Monitoring System is now available to accurately record the Service Meter Hours (SMH) on machines with high accumulations of service hours. The new software has been revised in order to allow service meter hours to roll over to 0.0 after the Caterpillar Monitoring System reaches the value of 65535.9 hours.

Additionally, Service Mode 8 will monitor the total number of rollovers of the service hour display. Service Mode 8 is called Rollover Mode. The number of rollovers in Service Mode 8 is limited. The limited range is 0 to 255. Once the counter for rollovers reaches a value of 255, the SMH will be latched at 65535.9 hours.
