Improved Clamping Is Used for the Lower Water Lines {1380}

Usage:

789C 2BW

Off-Highway Truck/Tractor: 777D HAA (S/N: 2YW1-UP) 785C (S/N: APX1-UP; 5AZ1-UP) 789C (S/N: 2BW1-UP)
Wheel Loader: 994F (S/N: 4421-UP)

Description of Change: The retainers and the retaining rings on the lower tube have been changed. A new ring and a new clamp assembly are now used. The new clamps provide increased clamping for the tube. The clips and the grommets have been removed from the tube ends.

Adaptable To: The new clamps can be retrofitted to the above models. Refer to Table 1 and Table 2 for a list of parts.

When the 104-4771 Bracket As is removed, replace the two 9X-8873 Bolts with two 1A-1460 Bolts. The 1A-1460 Bolts are located in the following parts groups:

For models 785C and 789C, refer to the 9Y-1595 Accessory Drive Gp .
For the model 994, refer to the 167-9574 Flywheel Housing Gp .
For the model 777D HAA, refer to the 137-8267 Accessory Drive Gp .
