New Abrasion Sleeve for the Cooler Hose of the Transmission{1375} Caterpillar

Introduction

A new abrasion sleeve is available for the protection of the cooler hose of the transmission.

Problem

The cooler hose for the transmission is rubbing on the engine mount. This may cause the hose to wear prematurely.

1. Remove clip (1) .

2. Place 250 mm (9.843 inch) of 149-7372 Abrasion Sleeve (3) onto 214-3753 Hose Assembly (2) .

(A) 20 mm (0.787 inch) to 30 mm (1.181 inch)

3. Orient the 130-9984 Clip (1) so that clip (1) faces away from the engine mount. Clip (1) will avoid interference. Refer to Illustration 3. Also, place 149-7372 Abrasion Sleeve (3) distance (A) beyond clip (1) .
