Jangan mengengkol engine selama lebih dari 30 detik. Apabila engine tidak dapat dihidupkan, biarkan starter menjadi dingin selama dua menit sebelum melakukan start kembali. Kunci kontak engine harus diputar ke posisi OFF sebelum mencoba melakukan start kembali. |

- Gerakkan kontrol pendorong (1) ke posisi NETRAL.
- Pindahkan sakelar untuk kontrol amplitudo getaran (2) ke posisi OFF tengah untuk menonaktifkan sistem getaran.
- Dorong tombol rem parkir (3) ke bawah.
- Tekan kontrol throttle (4) ke arah bawah ke posisi RPM RENDAH.

- Putar kunci (5) ke posisi ON.

- Ada indikator pada panel kontrol untuk alat bantu start engine. Lampu indikator yang menyala menunjukkan bahwa busi pijar diberi energi. Penerangan harus dimatikan sebelum melakukan start engine.
- Bunyikan klakson singkat sebelum menyalakan engine.
- Starter engine dengan memutar kunci (5) ke posisi START. Bila engine telah hidup, lepaskan kunci.
