Valve Mechanism Cover Group
Usage:
(1) Seal. Cut seal to length for each of three covers. Coat joint with 3S6252 RTV Silicone.
(2) Cover. (Three covers in total group.)
(3) Tighten valve cover bolts to a torque of ... 7 ± 3 N·m (5 ± 2 lb ft)
(4) Spacer. (Provides additional clearance for the jake brake group.)
(5) Breather assembly.
NOTE: On an engine equipped with a fumes disposal hose, [ID = 31.8 mm (1.25 in)] and utilizing additional air to produce 19.82 m3 per hour blowby, the crankcase pressure shall be less than 0.4 kPa (.06 psi).
(6) Cylinder head.
