Usage:
1.7 Liter Unit Injector Test Specifications
NOTE: The 1.7 Litre unit injectors can ONLY Be tested on the 1U6661 Pop Tester.
- * Maximum Pressure ... 4500 kPa
- * Minimum Pressure ... 2500 kPa
- * Upper Test Limit Pressure ... 4500 kPa
- * Lower Test Limit Pressure ... 2500 kPa
- * New or Remanufactured Injector ... 30 seconds
- * Used Injector ... 30 seconds
(1) Solenoid valve assembly.
(2) Solenoid valve assembly nut.
(3) Fuel injector group.
(4) Injector clamp.
(5) Bolt. Tighten to ... 30 N·m (22 lb ft)
(6) High pressure plug.
(7) O-ring. Lubricate with STP Engine Oil Treatment before installation of the fuel injector group into the cylinder head.
(8) Distance from the top of fuel injector group to bottom of the solenoid valve assembly holder ... 92.83 mm (3.650 in) max.
(9) Nozzle group.
(10) Fuel injector group spacer.

NOTE: Inspect and repair as necessary the sealing surface (seat) of the injector sleeve in the cylinder head when removing and installing an injector. The injector sealing surface (seat) must be free of scratches or evidence of a combustion leak (carbon). If it is necessary to rework (ream) or replace the sleeve use 4C4054 Tool Group and refer to Special Instruction, Form No. SEHS9120, Removal And Installation Of Unit Injector Sleeve.
