  1. Install bearing assemblies (58) and bearing race (59).

    Note: Refer to Special Instructions, SEHS8364-03 for Dou-Cone seal installation information.

  3. Use Tooling (M) in order to install Dou-Cone seal (56).

  4. Use Tooling (M) in order to install Dou-Cone seal (55).

  5. Use Tooling (N) and a suitable press in order to install housing (53) onto spindle (54).

  6. Use Tooling (N), Tooling (H), and a suitable press in order to position bearing race (59).

  7. Install nut (52).

  8. Install spindle (54) and housing (53) onto Tooling (F). Install Tooling (F) onto the bottom half of Tooling (G).

  9. Install Tooling (H) and Tooling (J).

  10. Install the remaining pieces of Tooling (G).

  11. Tighten nut (52) to a torque of 3900 ± 100 N·m (2876 ± 74 lb ft).

  12. Stake nut (52).

  14. Use Tooling (D) in order to install retaining rings (50).

  15. Install gear (49).

  16. Use Tooling (E) in order to install retaining ring (48).

  17. Install gears (45) and gear (47).

  18. Use Tooling (D) in order to install retaining rings (46).

  19. Install O-ring seal (43) and carrier assembly (44).

  21. Install the O-ring seals and plugs (42).

  22. Use Tooling (B) in order to install retaining ring (40).

  24. Install pistons (36), bearing race (36A), and shaft (35).

  27. Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press in order to install retaining ring (25) into barrel (22).

  34. Install piston (21), barrel (22), O-ring seal (23), springs (20), bearing race (23A), and springs (19).

  36. Install valve (14G), retainer (14E), O-ring seal (14D), spring (14F), O-ring seal (14C), and plug (14B).

  37. Install spring (14), the O-ring seal, and plug (13).

  38. Install spool (15), spring (16), plug (17), and the O-ring seal.

  39. Install O-ring seal (12) onto plug (9).

  40. Install piston (10) and spring (11).

  41. Install plug (9).

  42. Repeat Step 41 for the opposite side.

  44. Install head (5) and bolts (4).
