Removal Procedure

Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

1. Open the engine enclosure.

2. Loosen clamp (3) and remove tube (2) from air cleaner housing (1) .

3. Disconnect tube assembly (4) from the air cleaner housing.

4. Remove cover (5) from air cleaner housing (1) .

5. Remove primary air filter element (6) from air cleaner housing (1) .

6. Remove secondary air filter element (7) from air cleaner housing (1) .

7. Remove bolts (8) and remove the air cleaner housing from the engine.

Installation Procedure

1. Install air cleaner housing (1) and bolts (8) .

2. Install secondary air filter element (7) into the air cleaner housing.

3. Install primary air filter element (6) into air cleaner housing (1) .

4. Install cover (5) to air cleaner housing (1) .

5. Connect tube assembly (4) to air cleaner housing (1) .

6. Install tube (2) and tighten clamp (3) to air cleaner housing (1) .

7. Close the engine enclosure.
