When reporting the repair, use "PS43523" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |
NOTE: | When submitting claim for Parts Stock Action, Use the appropriate 99Z as the s/n, the appropriate Service Letter Program Number as the Part number in the Part Causing Failure field, "7755" as the Group Number, "56" as the Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The existing torque converter inlet tube can crack and leak on certain TH55-E70 Frac Transmissions. If the existing tube fails, it will cause an external leak and require replacement. |

1) Remove clamp assembly (a) between the 304-3354 and 304-3355 Tube Assemblies. 2) Remove the 304-3354 Controls Inlet Tube Assembly at the split flanges on both ends (b). 3) Remove the 304-3355 Torque Converter Inlet Tube Assembly at the barrel nut and split flange (c). 4) Remove the one end of 304-3358 Hose Assembly (d) from the 371-7151 Elbow. 5) Remove the 371-7151 Elbow (e), or loosen it in order to access the 338-4652 Bolts (4-bolt pattern) in the 304-3359 Block. 6) Loosen (4) 338-4652 Bolts (f) in the 304-3359 Block. This will allow the block to be aligned properly when the new 371-2894 TC Inlet Tube is assembled. |

7) Assemble the new 371-2894 TC Inlet Tube Assembly with new o-rings. Start by tightening the nut end of the 371-2894 Tube Assembly (g) hand-tight on the 371-7151 Elbow. 8) Next, leaving the (4) 338-4652 Bolts loose, position the opposite end of the tube assembly on the filter and install the split flanges and bolts (h). 9) Torque the (4) 338-4652 Bolts (i) in the 304-3359 Block. 10) Torque the barrel nut end of the 371-2894 Tube Assembly (g) to final torque. |

11) Reassemble the 371-7151 Elbow (j) to the 304-3359 Block. 12) Reassemble the 304-3358 Hose as (k) to the 371-7151 Elbow. 13) Reassemble the 304-3354 Tube Assembly (l) with new o-rings. 14) Reassemble the clamp assembly (m) between the 304-3354 and 371-2894 Tube Assemblies. |
