The new 259-7732 Shuttle Valve is available for replacement of the former 123-2430 Shuttle Valve in the models that are listed. The new shuttle valve eliminates the vibration that is felt in the pilot control lever when swing left movement is activated. Use the information that follows in order to install the new shuttle valve.

Installation Of The New Shuttle Valve

Install a new shuttle valve when vibration is felt in the pilot control lever and swing left movement is activated.

1. Disassemble hose assembly (B) from shuttle valve (D) and pressure reducing valve (E). Disassemble elbow (C) from shuttle valve (D.). Remove shuttle valve (D) .

Note: The terminal connections of hose assembly (B) are reversed for reassembly.

2. Assemble elbow (2) and two seals (3) on pressure reducing valve (E). Install new shuttle valve (1). Assemble hose assembly (B) between the shuttle valve and the pressure reducing valve. Refer to Illustration 2. Torque the valve, the elbow, and the hose assembly to 40 + 4 N·m (30 + 3 lb ft).
