Installation Procedure

Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

1. Install transmission oil cooler bonnet (11) and four bolts (23) .

2. Attach a suitable lifting device to transmission oil cooler (13). The weight of transmission oil cooler (13) is approximately 46 kg (101 lb).

3. Install transmission oil cooler (13) and two bolts (10) .

4. Install O-ring seal (19) and O-ring seal (21) on coupling (20) .

5. Install coupling (20) into elbow (14) .

6. Install O-ring seal (22) .

7. Install elbow (14) on transmission oil cooler (13). Install six bolts (15) and five bolts (18) .

8. Install bracket (17) and four bolts (16) .

9. Install elbow (8) and four bolts (9) .

10. Connect hose assembly (7) .

11. Install tube assembly (6) .

12. Install gasket (5) .

13. Install tube assembly (3) on the turbocharger. Install three bolts (4) .

14. Install clamp (2) in the position recorded in the removal procedure. Tighten clamp (2) .

15. Install cover (1) .

16. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)" for the capacity of the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (DEAC) - Change" or Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the proper filling procedure.

17. Check the transmission oil level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Transmission Oil Level - Check".

End By: Remove the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".
