Installation Procedure

Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

1. Attach a suitable lifting device to engine oil cooler (11). The weight of engine oil cooler (11) is approximately 23 kg (50 lb).

2. Install engine oil cooler (11) .

3. Install two bolts (10) and two bolts (12) .

4. Connect hose (13). Tighten the hose clamps.

5. Install O-ring seal (6) and O-ring seal (8) to coupling (7) .

6. Install O-ring seal (9) and coupling (7) to elbow (4) .

7. Install elbow (4), six bolts (1) and five bolts (5) .

8. Install bracket (3) and four bolts (2) .

9. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)" for the capacity of the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (DEAC) - Change" or Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the proper filling procedure.

End By:

1. Install the turbocharger. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Turbocharger - Install".
2. Remove the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".
