A new 264-2024 Filter Cover and mounting arrangement is available for the transmission filter on the listed machines. The new filter cover and mounting arrangement improve the sealing arrangement on the bottom of the transmission filter.

In order to adapt your machine to the new arrangement, remove the former 140-9852 Filter Cover, 6V-4248 Bolts and 6V-5839 Washers. Remove the O-ring seal from the filter cover and retain the O-ring seal. Clean the O-ring seal and inspect the O-ring seal. If the O-ring seal is worn or damaged, replace the O-ring seal with a new 2D-8009 O-Ring Seal. Install the O-ring seal to a new 264-2024 Filter Cover. Install the new filter cover with 183-7121 Bolts and 8T-7934 Hard Washers. Ensure that you install the hard washers with the bolts.
