(4) Hydraulic oil temperature sensor

With the key start switch in the ON position, 24 volt power is supplied from the batteries via circuit breaker 13 to Caterpillar Monitoring System ECM (1). Caterpillar Monitoring System ECM (1) supplies 8 volt power to hydraulic oil temperature sensor (4) .

Hydraulic oil temperature sensor (4) sends a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) signal to Caterpillar Monitoring System ECM (1). Caterpillar Monitoring System ECM (1) sends a signal to gauge module (2). The hydraulic oil temperature is displayed on hydraulic oil temperature gauge (3) .

ReferenceFor more information on hydraulic oil temperature refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Caterpillar Monitoring System".
