Description of Change: The new cylinder has a larger bore diameter. The new cylinder has an increased lift capacity of 26% over the current cylinder that is being used. The new cylinder is a direct replacement.
Adaptable To: The new 275-0895 Hydraulic Cylinder Gp (1) replaces the 135-0220 Hydraulic Cylinder Gp. Replace 148-8378 Elbow As (2) at the rod end of the cylinder with 108-2144 Elbow, 3J-1907 O-Ring Seal and 6V-8397 O-Ring Seal. Remove fitting (3) from the top of the cylinder and install the fittings to the new cylinder.
Adjust the auxiliary pump pressure compensator in order to raise the pressure to 13800 ± 175 kPa (2000 ± 25 psi). Refer to Systems Operations, Testing and Adjusting, KENR5028, "Pressure Compensator Control - Test and Adjust" for this procedure.
