The ECM mode switch (3) and the display mode switch (4) will allow service personnel access to diagnostic information for the propel system. The service switches are located behind the large hinged panel on the left side of the machine. A separate service tool is not used to perform diagnostic or calibration procedures on this machine.

The green power indicator (8) indicates that the ECM is receiving +battery system power.
In order to enter the service mode, press and hold the control mode switch. Release the switch when "-1-" is displayed on the ECM's three digit display (2). If no diagnostic codes have been detected, "---" is shown on the display. If a service code is showing in the display area, and the red diagnostic code present indicator (6) on the right hand side of the display is ON, the diagnostic code shown is currently present (active).
In order to scroll through the service codes, press and hold the display mode switch (4) in the INCREMENT position. Release the switch when the desired service code is being shown.
In order to clear a service code, press and hold the display mode switch in the CLEAR/STORE position while the desired service code is being shown. The ECM will not allow an active diagnostic code to be cleared. The diagnostic code must no longer be active and the red diagnostic code present indicator cannot be ON in order to clear a diagnostic code.
In order to enter the calibration mode, press and hold the ECM mode switch (3). Release the switch when "-2-" is showing in the ECM's display area
In order to scroll through the calibration submodes, press and hold the display mode switch (4) in the INCREMENT position. Release the switch when the desired submode number is displayed.
In order to store a calibration, press and release the display mode switch in the CLEAR/STORE position while the desired calibration submode is being displayed. When the amber calibration mode indicator (7) flashes, the calibration has been accepted. If the red diagnostic code present indicator (6) flashes, the calibration has not been accepted.

In order to return to the normal mode, press and hold the control mode switch. Release the switch when "-0-" is showing on the ECM display area. This mode displays any operator errors that are present in the ECM system. If there are no operator errors, "P--" is shown on the ECM display.
