The 243-3130 Contamination Monitor Gp allows the technician to monitor the cleanliness of hydraulic fluid or lubrication oil in systems with a maximum pressure of 689 kPa (100 psi). The contamination monitor group is ideal for use with filter carts. The contamination monitor group can pump a sample of oil from nonpressurized systems or from S·O·S bottles for quick checks of the sample.

This contamination monitor group provides only ISO cleanliness codes, but this contamination monitor group is a lower cost unit than traditional particle counting equipment. The ISO cleanliness codes can be displayed in 6 micron or 14 micron particle sizes. If the contamination monitor group is connected to a computer, 4 micron particle sizes can also be displayed.

The contamination monitor group must be used with the 6V-4144 Coupler, the 243-3133 Quick Connect Coupler (Fluid Sampling), or the 210-5530 Coupler .

The contamination monitor group includes the following equipment: a monitor assembly, a DC power supply, an AC power supply, a communication cable, a software disk, a user's manual and a carrying case.

Refer to the Tool Operating Manual, NEHS0908 for more information.
