Installation Procedure

1. Position lower guard (5) and upper guard (4), as shown.

2. Install the four bolts that hold upper guard (4) to lower guard (5) .

3. Install fan (20). Install six bolts (19) .

4. Position lower right shroud (13), as shown.

5. Attach a suitable lifting device to the existing lifting eye bolts on radiator (17). The weight of radiator (17) is approximately 128 kg (282 lb).

6. Install radiator (17) .

7. Install four mounting bolts (18) .

8. Repeat Step 7 for the opposite side four mounting bolts.

9. Install two mounting bolts (16) and the washers.

10. Position angle bracket (15). Install the bolts that hold bracket (15). Do not tighten the bolts at this time.

11. Repeat Step 10 for the opposite side angle bracket.

12. Install four bolts (14) and the washers to lower right shroud (13). Do not tighten the bolts at this time.

13. Position left shroud (10). Install three bolts (11), two bolts (12) and the washers. Do not tighten the bolts at this time.

14. Install hose (9) and the hose clamp. Tighten the hose clamp.

15. Position upper shroud (7). Install two bolts (8) and the washers. Do not tighten the bolts at this time.

16. Install three bolts (6) and the washers. Do not tighten the bolts at this time.

17. Loosen 13 bolts (21) .

18. Arrange angle bracket (15), the angle bracket on the opposite side, upper shroud (7), left shroud (10), lower right shroud (13) and three shrouds (22) to get an equal spacing between the end of fan blades (20) and three shrouds (22) .

19. Tighten the five bolts that hold angle bracket (15), the five bolts that hold the angle bracket on the opposite side, three bolts (6), two bolts (8), three bolts (11) two bolts (12), three bolts (14) and 13 bolts (21) .

20. Install the seven bolts, and the washers to upper guard (4) and lower guard (5) .

21. Install tube (3) and hose clamps (2). Tighten hose clamps (2). Tighten the lower hose clamp (not shown).

22. Install tube (1) and the hose clamps. Tighten the hose clamps.

End By:

1. Install the radiator header tank. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator Tank (Header) - Install".
2. Install the hydraulic oil cooler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Oil Cooler - Install".
3. Install the bottom engine guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bottom Guard (Engine) - Remove and Install".
4. Remove the steering fame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".
