- Lower the temperature of bearing cup (28) .

- Install bearing cup (28) .
- Install O-ring seal (27) .
- Use Tooling (A) in order to install retaining ring (26) .
- Install bearings (24) and bearing cone (25) .

- Install piston (20), spring (19), pin (23), and retaining ring (22) onto swashplate assembly (21) .

- Install swashplate assembly (21) .

- Compress spring (19). Position piston (20) into the original position.
- Install shaft (18) .

- Use a suitable press in order to install washer (17), spring (16), washer (15), and retaining ring (14) into barrel (9) .

- Install bearing (12) and pins (13) into barrel (9) .

- Install the string to pistons (10), and retainer (11) .

- Install barrel (9) and pistons (10) together.

Note: Use a string in order to install the barrel and pistons.
- Remove the string.
- Install bearing cone (7) and port plate (8) .

- Install pin (5) and the spring.

- Install bearing cup (6) .
- Install bolts (3) and head (4) .

- Install bolts (1), pump control (2), and the O-ring seals.
