Start By:

  1. Remove the piston pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump - Remove".

  1. Remove bolts (1), pump control (2), and the O-ring seals.

  1. Remove bolts (3) and head (4) .

  1. Remove pin (5) and the spring.

  1. Remove bearing cup (6) .

  1. Remove bearing cone (7) and port plate (8) .

    Note: Use a string in order to remove the barrel and pistons.

  1. Remove barrel (9) and pistons (10) together.

  1. Remove the string, pistons (10), and retainer (11) .

  1. Remove bearing (12) and pins (13) from barrel (9) .

  1. Use a suitable press in order to remove retaining ring (14), washer (15), spring (16), and washer (17) from barrel (9) .

  1. Remove shaft (18) .

  1. Compress spring (19). Position piston (20), as shown.

  1. Remove swashplate assembly (21) .

  1. Remove retaining ring (22), pin (23), spring (19) and piston (20) from swashplate assembly (21) .

  1. Remove bearings (24) and bearing cone (25) .

  1. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (26) .

  1. Remove O-ring seal (27) and bearing cup (28) .
