Lip seal (2) that is installed in the end of shaft (1) provides an obstruction to oil flow from tube (3). The lip seal acts as a oil dam in order to retain lubrication oil in the bore of the shaft. The lip seal is not intended to make a seal around the tube. The part numbers of the lip seals, shafts and the tubes for the 735, 740 and 740 EJECTOR Articulated Trucks are given in Table 1.
