Disassembly Procedure

Start By:
- Remove the auxiliary pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Auxiliary) - Remove".
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before you begin the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the components should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism. Precision components can be damaged by contaminants or by dirt. Perform disassembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.
- Remove O-ring seal (2) from auxiliary pump (1) .

- Remove bolts (3) and end cap (4) from auxiliary pump (1) .

- Remove gasket (5) from end cap (4) .

- If necessary, remove bearing cup (6) from end cap (4) .
- Remove bolts (7), gasket (8), and control kit (9) .
- Remove nut (10), adjuster (11), O-ring seal (12), spring (13), and seat (14) from control kit (9) .

- Remove control cylinder (15) .

- Remove valve plate (16) from cylinder block assembly (17) .
- Remove bolts (18) and trunnions (19) from housing (20) .

- Remove O-ring seal (21) from each of trunnions (19) .

- Remove cylinder block assembly (17) and the swashplate assembly as a unit from housing (20) .

- Use Tooling (A) and remove bearing (22) from the shaft.
