Improved Internal Rust Preventative Measures In Parts Service Machine Engines {1000,1050,1300,1350}

Usage:

All New And Remanufactured 3500 And 3500B Parts Service Machine Engines

Improvements have been made to help prevent rust formation in the lube, cooling, and air systems of these engines during storage and transportation prior to installation. The new processes include:

* The use of treated water in the engine jacket water system during engine dynamometer testing.

* The injection of a Volatile Corrosion Inhibiter (VCI) oil treatment in the air intake system.

* A VCI engine coolant fill and drain process at the manufacturing plant. This leaves a thin film for protection against rust.

All new and remanufactured 3500 and 3500B Machine Engines sold through the part distribution system are now protected from rust with a higher standard preservation process. This process has been in effect since January 1, 1997.
