Plug Added To Protect Upper Vertical Swing Link Bearing{4159,4151}

Usage:

Challenger 35 (8DN),
Challenger 45 (1DR),
Challenger 55 (7DM) Agricultural Tractors

Description of Change: A protective plug for the upper vertical swing link bearing is installed. The plug replaces the former sealant and provides improved sealing and durability. The plug reduces the amount of dirt and water which enters the upper vertical swing link bearing area.

Adaptable To: The new 150-9627 Plug is effective with Challenger 35 (8DN1913), Challenger 45 (1DR1864, 1867-Up), and Challenger 55 (7DM1213) Agricultural Tractors and is adaptable to Challenger 35 (8DN595-Up), Challenger 45 (1DR1320-1863. 1865, 1866), and Challenger 55 (7DM516-Up) Agricultural Tractors. The new plug may also be adaptable to earlier machines which have roller frames equipped with unmachined nose castings at location (A). On earlier roller frames, machining of location (A) removed too much material for the plug installation.
