Removal Prodecure

Start By:

1. Connect the steering frame lock.

2. Release the hydraulic system pressure.

Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.

1. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil (Implement) (Hydraulic Fan) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

2. Open access door (1) on the top of the front frame.

3. Remove cover assembly (2). Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.

4. Disconnect hose assemblies (3) and (5). Disconnect hose assembly (4).

5. Disconnect hose assemblies (6), (8), and (10).

6. Remove tube assemblies (9). Remove tube assemblies (7) and the fittings.

7. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to main control valve (11). The weight of main control valve (11) is approximately 105 kg (231 lb).

8. Remove the bolts and use Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device in order to remove main control valve (11).

Installation Procedure

1. Install main control valve (11) in the reverse order of removal.
