Description of Change: There have been isolated instances of issues with jiggle pins in the water temperature regulator. This results in poor venting, so the engine is unable to achieve the correct operating temperature. Some water temperature regulators have had structural damage that may jam the water temperature regulator open or closed.

An improved water temperature regulator has been introduced. The improved water temperature regulator has a larger jiggle pin. The new water temperature regulator has an improved design. The shape of the design has been altered from an elongated design (1) to spherical design (2). This change was introduced on the 31January 2008.

Adaptable To: The part number for the 216-9737 Water Temperature Regulator has not changed.
