Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Disassemble the suction fan (fan and fan motor). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Suction Fan (Fan and Fan Motor) - Disassemble".

1. Remove nut (1) and the washer.

2. Use Tooling (A) and remove adapter (2) from the drive gear.

3. Remove woodruff key (3) from the drive gear.

4. Remove bolts (4). Remove end cover (5) from the housing.

5. Remove seal (6) from end cover (5).

   Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force. Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment. Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.

6. Remove relief valve (9), spring (8), and guide (7) from end cover (5).

7. Remove housing (10) from shaft cover (11).

8. Remove seal (12) and dowels (13) from both sides of housing (10).
