The retainer (1) in the hydraulic oil filter and mounting group has been improved. The new retainer has a larger diameter than the former retainer. The larger diameter will be a tighter fit in the filter assembly. When you service the filter elements, the tighter fit will retain the filters (2) in the filter assembly better.
The new 299-5372 Retainer is a direct replacement for the former 193-0933 Retainer in the 193-0935 Oil Filter and Mounting Gp, the 194-0585 Hydraulic Oil Filter and Mounting Gp and the194-0591 Hydraulic Oil Filter and Mounting Gp. The new retainer is adaptable back to the beginning of production of the machines. The new retainer is available through the parts distribution system.
