The air tank (4) is located under the right side platform. The air tank contains pressurized air for control of the air starting system, lubrication system and the horns. The air tank is equipped with a relief valve (3) that is not adjustable.
The VIMS monitors the pressure in the air system with pressure sensor (2) . The pressure sensor is located on the side of the tank next to relief valve (3) .
The control valve for the air tank drain is located on the right side platform. The control valve is used to check for water in the air tank and the system.
