Torque Converter Scavenge Screen - Clean
When you change the transmission oil, clean the torque converter scavenge screen.
Remove the bottom guard in order to gain access to the torque converter.

- Remove plug (4), seal (3), spring (2), and screen (1) .
- Wash the screen in a clean, nonflammable solvent.
- Inspect the seal. If the seal is damaged, install a new seal.
- Install screen (1), spring (2), seal (3), and plug (4) in the torque converter housing.
- Install the bottom guard.
