(2) Torque for relief fitting ... 13 ± 4 N·m (9 ± 3 lb ft)
(3) Torque for the 18 bolts ... 300 ± 40 N·m (220 ± 30 lb ft)
(4) Torque for the three plugs ... 55 ± 6 N·m (40 ± 4 lb ft)
Apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to plugs (4) prior to assembly.
Apply a thin film of lubricant to seal assembly (5) .
(6) (8) Torque for the 24 bolts ... 300 ± 40 N·m (220 ± 30 lb ft)
(7) Torque the 12 bolts to 105 ± 20 N·m (77 ± 15 lb ft). ... Turn an additional 120° ± 10°.
(9) Torque for the drain assembly
- Drain assembly ... 130 ± 10 N·m (95 ± 7 lb ft)
- Plug ... 65 ± 6 N·m (50 ± 4)
(10) Apply 8C-8422 Sealant (Anaerobic) to the mating surfaces prior to assembly.
(11) Torque for the four bolts ... 570 ± 80 N·m (420 ± 60 lb ft)
(12) Torque for the bolt ... 120 ± 20 N·m (90 ± 15 lb ft)

Apply 4C-5597 Anti-Seize Compound to the dowels on the rear axle in order to aid in assembly, if necessary.
