Installation Procedure

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
- Attach a suitable lifting device (22) to the bank valve.

- Install the bank valve into the machine. The weight of the bank valve is 30 kg (66 lb).
- Install three bolts and washers (23) .
- Connect seven lines (21) to the bank valve.

- Connect three hoses (20) to the rear of the bank valve.

The hoses are located on the rear of the bank valve. | |
- Connect hose (19) to the front of the bank valve.

The hoses are located on the front of the bank valve. | |
- Connect hose (18) to the front of the bank valve.
- Connect two hoses (17) to the bank valve.

- Connect two lines (16) to the bank valve.
- Connect two lines (16) to the hydraulic cylinders for the loader.
- Connect electrical connector (15) to the solenoid.

- Connect six hoses (14) to the bank valve.
- Connect the electrical connector to solenoid (13) .

- Connect two hoses (12) to the bank valve.
- Install bracket (11) for the parking brake.

- Install four screws (10) into bracket (11) .
- Connect electrical connector (9) .
- Install tie strap (8) in order to secure the electrical connections.
- Install heater duct (7) and two screws (6) .

- Install cover (2) and screw (5) .
- Install floorplate (4) .
