An Improved Mounting Bracket for the Steering Metering Pump On Machines With Wheel Steering Is Now Available {4312}

- R1700G (PIN: 8XZ)
Description of Change: An improved mounting bracket for the steering metering pump on machines with wheel steering is now available. The improved mounting bracket uses four bolts for mounting for improved retention.
Adaptable To: On machines with wheel steering, the improved 9EP4936 Bracket is adaptable to R1600 (PIN: 9EW1-UP) and R1700G (PIN: 8XZ1-UP) by using the following procedure.

- The existing two bolt mounting bracket should be removed and discarded.
- Use the new four bolt 9EP4936 Mounting Bracket (1) as a template. Drill and tap two additional holes of the following size: 5/16 inch UNC.
- Refer to Illustration 1 in order to install the new four bolt 9EP4936 Mounting Bracket .
