Description of Change: New Duo-Cone Seal Groups are used on the Off-Highway Trucks. The new Duo-Cone Seal Groups have a reduced taper angle. The reduced taper angle will improve the service life.
Adaptable To: The new 179-6862 Duo-Cone Seal Group, new 179-6863 Duo-Cone Seal Group and new 179-6864 Duo-Cone Seal Group are direct replacements for the former 145-6033 Duo-Cone Seal Group, the former 145-6034 Duo-Cone Seal Group, and the former 145-6035 Duo-Cone Seal Group. The former 145-6033 Duo-Cone Seal Group, the former 145-6034 Duo-Cone Seal Group and the former 145-6035 Duo-Cone Seal Group are not serviced.
The following tables contain the truck model and the current part number. The tables also contain the position of the seal on the wheel and the position of the seal on the truck. The tables also contain the effective serial number of the seal group.
