Battery - Clean/Check
The battery is located under the engine access cover.
Note: Maintenance free batteries are included with a new machine. You do not need to check the electrolyte level in the maintenance free batteries.
- Every 1000 hours tighten the retainers on the battery.

- Clean the top of the batteries with a clean cloth for every 1000 hours of operation.
- The battery terminals must be cleaned and coated with petroleum jelly for every 1000 hours of operation.
