Removing the Hydraulic Control Valve Cover

  • Loosen two straps (1) that are located on the cover (2) .

    1. Remove the wing nuts (3) that hold the plate (4). Remove the plate.

    1. The cover (2) can now be moved back from the hoses.

      Note: It is not necessary to completely remove the cover in order to remove the hydraulic control valve cover. You only need to fold the cover (6) away from the hoses.

    1. Loosen the locks (5) that secure the hydraulic control valve cover (6). There are three locks on the cover. One lock is on each side of the cover and one lock is on the rear of the cover.

      Note: HH45, HH55 and HH65 Harvester Heads have only one lock. The lock is located on the rear of the hydraulic control valve cover.

    1. The hydraulic control valve cover can now be removed. Slide the cover away from the lubricating oil tank and remove the cover.

      Note: The weight of the HH75 cover is approximately 27 kg (60 lb). The weight of the covers for the other Harvester Heads is approximately 16 kg (35 lb).
