The fluids recommendations for all Caterpillar machines are now published in the Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU6250, "Caterpillar Machine Fluids Recommendations". The publication includes information on coolants, lubricants, and fluids for hydraulic systems, power trains, and brake systems. The publication also provides information on Schedule Oil Sampling (S·O·S) and on fluid spills.

The information on machine fluids was formerly published in the individual machine Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
